Do I have to share the field with other owners and their dogs?

No - bookings are exclusive to you and your dog/s.

Therefore you will have sole use of the field for the duration of your session.

How far in advance can I make a booking?

Using our online booking system you can book an appointment up to thre weeks in advance.

Why is the booking only 50 minutes and not an hour?

We allow a generous 10 minute cross over between clients to ensure they can enter/exit either field safely without the worry of bumping into other dogs.

Our aim is to make sure that both you & your dog/s have a stress free visit.

Why do I need an Induction and what does it entail?

Inductions are a meet and greet so we get to know our clients, and them us.

We will explain how everything works and get you familiar with the surroundings.

The induction forms part of your first booking and lasts approximately 25 minutes.

During this time we will check your documentation, explain our T&Cs and get you to fill in a registration form.

Can we bring along our friend and their dog to our bookings so my dog has a playmate?

Yes, but your friend must complete an induction for their own dog prior to their play date with yours.

How do I make payment?

Once you have completed your induction you will be able to make bookings using our online booking system.

Payment is required at the point of booking via PayPal.

The prices shown on the booking calendars are for one dog only. Please ensure you tick the correct box for any additional dogs attending your session, this will be calculated in your final breakdown/invoice.

Why do I have to show my dogs vaccination card/titre results certificate?

It is our utmost priority that we look after your dogs health & wellbeing.

By ensuring all dogs are covered for DHP it lowers the risk of transferable disease spreading.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Saturday  9am - 5pm

(last appointment 4pm).

Sunday  9am - 4pm

(last appointment 3pm).

Bank Holidays 10am - 4pm

(last appointment 3pm).

Please be aware that these times change during the winter months due to daylight hours.

How do I dispose of my dogs waste?

There is a dog poo bin located in both fields for your use.

Is there a water supply in the fields?

Unfortunately not....

Therefore we ask that you bring plenty of drinking water for your dogs.

We have bowls on site for your use.

How big are the fields?

For more information please refer to the relevant field pages on the menu bar.

Is there somewhere I can park?

Yes, free car parking is available on site.

How do I find you?

Go to our ‘Find Us’ page for directions.

We are located next door to Kemps Garden Centre.

Can I smoke in the field?

Sorry no....

Dog Field UK has a strict no smoking policy (this includes vaping).

Can I bring my children with me?

Children are permitted in the Paddock but unfortunately not the Meadow due to restrictions imposed on us by our insurance provider.

We'd suggest leaving children at home for your induction (unless you have another adult with you).

Its difficult to concentrate whilst looking after both your children and dogs & retain important information from your induction.

We want you to get the best out of your induction so you can enjoy future visits.

My dog has recently had a bout of diarrhoea, is it ok to still attend my appointment?

Your dog needs to be clear of all symptoms for a minimum of 48hrs before you visit us again.

Do you accept all breeds of dog?

Yes, we welcome all legal breeds.

How many dogs are allowed in the fields at any one time.

The Paddock accepts up to 4 dogs and the Meadow up to 6 dogs maximum.

Do you have toilet facilities?

Unfortunately we don't.

There is a cafe on site which has toilet facilities for their customers. Therefore if you wish to use their facilities we politely request that you purchase something.

I.E. a coffee/cold drink...

Is there any cover in the fields if it starts to rain?

Yes, we have installed shelters for clients to use which have proved very popular.

It is fine for your four legged friends to hide out from the rain with you too but please ensure your dogs DO NOT urinate/defecate in the shelter.

The shelter MUST be left clean and tidy after use.

Are there any sheep or cattle or other distractions near by?

There are no sheep or cattle but we do have resident chickens in neighbouring paddocks!

All are pretty bomb proof now as visiting dogs are a normal occurance to them.

We have obscured the view into these paddocks by using heavy duty green mesh netting along our fencing to deter interest from your canines.

How much is it to hire the fields?

Please refer to the individual fields pages on the menu bar as prices vary.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule your booking online up to 48 hours prior to your appointment free of charge.

No refunds or amendments permitted after this point.
